The Greenway receives an “Excellent” rating!
A recent Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) Traffic survey performed in the Spring of 2011 indicates that the Dulles Greenway had one of the best ratings for free flowing traffic and level of service. Of all the major highways surveyed in the area, the Greenway consistently received all passing grades at all times and directions. The MWCOG survey proves that the Greenway continues to offer motorists a reliable and time saving transportation option.
The traffic quality ratings are presented by segment, hour, and direction for each highway surveyed, and are a composite reflecting all ratings for a particular road. Ratings effected by incidents or other unusual events were segregated and excluded from ratings consideration.
